The Atlanta Dream are 5-2 to start the season and on a four-game winning streak after defeating the Seattle Storm 94-87 on Friday night. It was a rough start to the game for the Dream, and they found themselves down 17 points early in the third quarter, but they didn’t give up. They continued to fight, took the lead in the fourth quarter and closed out the Storm on the road.

Allisha Gray (28 points) and Rhyne Howard (33) combined for 61 points, the first time this season they scored 20-plus points in the same game. The Dream also got Brittney Griner back after she missed the past two games, and it looks like the team is starting to get healthy.

They may be getting another player back soon as well, with Jordin Canada writing a cryptic post on X after the Dream defeated the Storm.
“It’s go time,” Canada tweeted.
Canada has not played in the regular season after suffering a right knee injury minutes into the Dream’s first preseason game. The last update on Canada was on May 22, when the Dream announced that she is anticipated to resume team activities in the coming weeks and is expected to make a full recovery.

The Dream haven’t had a true floor general on the court with Canada out, and if she is set to return soon, that would bode well for the team. She has experience and has also won two championships early in her career with the Seattle Storm.
