FanFest will be the public’s first look at coach Lisa Fortier’s 2026-27 women’s basketball group, returning 10 players from the 2025-26 unit. The Gonzaga Bulldogs closed last season with a final West Coast Conference Tournament title and the program’s 16th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Loaded with experience, the Zags are the favorite to win the rebuilt Pac-12 Conference in Year 1. In fact, Bart Torvik has the Gonzaga women ranked No. 46 in the entire country.

The Zags will be led by the duo of redshirt sophomore forward Lauren Whittaker (68.7 field goal percentage at the rim in 2025-26) and sophomore guard Allie Turner (47.1 three-point percentage in 2025-26), who averaged 33.9 of the team’s 74.1 points per game last season.
Could this be Fortier’s, the owner of the fifth-highest winning percentage at .788 (313-84 overall record) in women’s college basketball currently, best chance at a Final Four run?
