TCU women’s basketball isn’t easing into the 2026-27 season.
Mark Campbell’s Horned Frogs will open Nov. 3 against Oral Roberts and then work through a nonconference schedule featuring Texas, Penn State, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State before Big 12 play begins.

That’s a serious slate for a program that has quickly moved from contender to national factor.
TCU is coming off another 32-6 season, a second straight trip to the Elite Eight and a second consecutive No. 6 final national ranking.
The Horned Frogs are also the only Power Conference program entering 2026-27 with back-to-back 30-win seasons and undisputed conference regular-season titles in both years.
The schedule gives them plenty of chances to prove that run has staying power.
The biggest date is Dec. 6 against Texas at Dickies Arena as part of the Lone Star Series.

That matchup gives TCU another shot at a national-level opponent and continues a recent trend of challenging elite programs before conference play.
Before that, the Horned Frogs head to Florida for the Fort Myers Tip-Off, facing Georgia Tech on Nov. 27 and Mississippi State on Nov. 28.
Then comes a Dec. 3 road trip to Memphis before the Texas showdown.
TCU finishes the nonconference portion with UTSA on Dec. 10 and Penn State on Dec. 13 at Schollmaier Arena.
That game begins a home-and-home series, with TCU scheduled to travel to State College in 2027.
The home court remains one of the biggest advantages in college basketball.

TCU enters the season riding an NCAA-best 44-game home winning streak and hasn’t lost inside Schollmaier Arena since Feb. 13, 2024.
The Frogs will open with seven straight home games, including Oral Roberts, Le Moyne, Tarleton, Iona, Southeastern Louisiana, Abilene Christian and UT Arlington.
That early stretch should give Campbell time to establish rotations before the schedule gets significantly tougher.
And tougher is exactly what TCU wants.

After consecutive Elite Eight appearances, this program isn’t building a résumé just to make the NCAA Tournament anymore.
The standard has changed. TCU is scheduling like a team expecting to play deep into March.
