ACC opponents for Florida State basketball in 2026 revealed

Florida State men’s basketball is gearing up for its 2026-27 season, and with that comes the ACC schedule release. The Seminoles’ official basketball account tweeted the news this afternoon.

The ACC uses an 18-game conference schedule and has done so since last year. Florida State’s “primary partner” is the Miami Hurricanes, with whom the Seminoles have an obvious rivalry in all sports. Their secondary “variable partner” appears to be the Clemson Tigers, whom they will face at home and away.

• Jan. 20 vs. Virginia Tech

Duke, Virginia, and Miami on the road will be a challenge, as will facing two California teams in quick succession. One positive: their home schedule could provide some great quality wins. Should they take down North Carolina, Louisville, and Miami, they will have a genuine case for the NCAA tournament if the rest of the season goes even slightly smoothly.
