LeBron James’ transportation between New York and Philadelphia has attracted attention as the veteran begins his first season with the 76ers.
James has reportedly been traveling to and from Philadelphia practices by helicopter while splitting his time between Philadelphia and his residence in New York.
The arrangement is connected to James’ existing partnership with Fanatics, according to his spokesperson, who explained that corporate aviation access is included in their agreement.
“The deal we signed with Fanatics almost three years ago includes access to their corporate aviation,” a James spokesperson told Fox News.
“It’s a feature in many of their deals with their largest athletes, and we appreciate their partnership as LeBron splits his time between New York and Philadelphia.”
The helicopter travel has generated additional attention around James as he adjusts to his new team and the logistics of playing in Philadelphia while maintaining a residence in New York.
The four-time NBA champion joined the Sixers during the offseason and is preparing for his first regular season with the franchise.
