Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington played just 11 games in the 2026 WNBA season, averaging 8.8 points and 3.1 rebounds. She missed the first 27 games of the campaign while recovering from a foot injury she sustained in 2025.
The Sky failed to reach the postseason with a 16-28 record, so Carrington didn’t get many other opportunities to play.

The good news is that Carrington signed a multi-year deal with Unrivaled in August and is now set to join the 3-on-3 league for its 2027 season, which kicks off in January.
On Wednesday, Unrivaled announced the club that Carrington will represent.

The Sky star will suit up for Breeze BC, alongside former Dallas Wings teammate Paige Bueckers, as well as Kahleah Copper, Kaitlyn Chen and Dominique Malonga.
What’s interesting to note about Breeze’s roster is that Carrington will also get to team up with Indiana Fever forward Monique Billings.

Both the Sky and the Fever have a heated rivalry, and it’s worth noting that Carrington was involved in a rather heated incident with Indiana during the season.
To recall, during the Aug. 8 game between the Sky and Fever, Carrington was ejected after committing a hard foul on Sophie Cunningham. The foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 2, leading to her removal from the contest.
After that, Carrington sparked more controversy when she posted “White Privilege” on social media and tagged the Fever.

Sure enough, it will be interesting to see the dynamic between Carrington and Billings, considering the former’s history with the Fever.
