Olivia Miles admits why Caitlin Clark is ‘annoying’ to play against

by admin

Caitlin Clark’s ascent among the WNBA’s best players continued in the 2026 season, as the 24-year-old guard tallied her highest points-per-game average (22.3) of her career. With her scoring and consistent ability to find open teammates, highlighted by a career average of 8.4 assists per game, she’s become a nightmare for opponents.

While some players have praised Clark’s talent on the floor, Minnesota Lynx guard and 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year Olivia Miles was blunt when she spoke about the Indiana Fever star recently. Miles recently joined The Old Man and the Three podcast, and Clark was among the topics discussed. She spoke about Clark, along with Paige Bueckers and Sonia Citron, admitting that it was “annoying to play against” her.

“Obviously, Caitlin with the shooting and her playmaking ability,” Miles said. “She’s so good with her right hand attacking downhill and creating for others. And obviously in transition she’s deadly. It is annoying to play against, right? Like, you’ve got to guard her, and you’ve got to make sure that you have bodies on her at all times and making it hard.”
