Michigan State basketball added another key player to its 2025-26 roster on Friday via the transfer portal.
Samford transfer guard Trey Fort announced his commitment to Michigan State on Friday afternoon. Fort reportedly visited Michigan State earlier this week, which must have helped seal the deal in his commitment to join the Spartans.

Fort averaged 14.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 24.6 minutes of action during this past year at Samford. This will be Fort’s sixth college team in the past six year, spending time at Tennessee-Martin, Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Howard College, Mississippi State and Samford.
