NASCAR has drawn interest from some of the biggest names in the world of sports and entertainment, including one of, if not the most recognizable athlete on the planet in Michael Jordan, who is a co-owner of 23XI Racing. But His Airness isn’t alone.
International entertainer Pitbull was part owner of Trackhouse Racing up until earlier this year.
In addition to ownership roles, the sport has piqued the interest of many other well-known celebrities who have gotten involved one way or another, including “Malcolm in the Middle” star Frankie Muniz, who took his passion to another level and is now a full-time driver in the Truck Series.
With that history of celebrities and athletes finding their way into the sport through various avenues, it’s not surprising that the mysterious post on X by former Dallas Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant on Friday got fans talking.
“Who loves watching NASCAR? If you do,tap in..I’m trying to see something,” the three-time Pro Bowler wrote and included a pair of googly eyes.

The Haas Factory team responded with three pairs of googly eyes.
“Come on out to a race, our team even has a connection to football,” wrote Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe, who races for Joe Gibbs Racing and the namesake of the team who won three Super Bowl titles as a head coach in Washington, the Cowboys biggest rival.
“Me,” driver Noah Gragson simply responded.
"The best RB to ever play for the @dallascowboys does @DezBryant #NASCAR," wrote Xfinity Series driver Jesse Iwuji, including photos of Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, with whom he co-owns a team.
Bryant's post remains a mystery. Is he interested in ownership? Does he want to get involved in some other way? No one knows for sure but the fact that he's talking about the sport has others talking and anytime a big-name current/former athlete or celebrity is talking about NASCAR it's a good thing.
