Clark injured her left quad on May 24 against the Liberty and missed five consecutive games.
“There was imaging done to tell that my leg is okay,” Clark said on Friday. “So I can find confidence in that we know we weren’t able to find anything or see anything and that was kind of my all clear.
“Then honestly, just sprinting. As you know, change of direction and sprinting in the game of basketball, that’s the biggest part of it. So feeling comfortable to be able to do those types of things and those types of movements. I’ve been doing that for a little bit now and I feel really confident in that.”
Clark is one of the most popular WNBA players and the league seems to know it.

The 23-year-old Clark won the 2024 Rookie of the Year Award. She’s averaging 19.2 points and 8.5 assists in 44 WNBA games with Indiana.
Clark’s best game as a pro came last season against the Dallas Wings. She put up 35 points and eight assists on Sept. 15, 2024.

“Ty [Tyrese Haliburton] and I would both tell you this is where we both hope to stay the rest of our careers,” Clark told ESPN.
“People are like, ‘It’s a small market.’ But no, that’s what makes it fun. These people, this is what means the world to them.”
