The Ole Miss Rebels football program has been on quite a roller-coaster ride since the start of last year. From Lane Kiffin taking the team to new heights before leaving for LSU to Dabo Swinney crying foul about tampering and quarterback Trinidad Chambliss fighting for eligibility, the entire timeline deserves a 30 for 30.

With the Rebels now settling in under Pete Golding, many are wondering what the future holds in Oxford. If there’s any indication of what’s to come for Ole Miss, Chambliss might’ve dropped a major hint during a recent press conference after spring practice.

One reporter asked Chambliss the difference between Kiffin and Golding, which led to more questions on the back end. The QB1 refused to refer to Kiffin by name, adding to the temperature in the room.

“The personalities are a little different,” Chambliss said about comparing Kiffin to Golding. “Our old coach and, you know, coach Golding, I say he’s more of a team guy and we really value his leadership. Whatever he says, he’ll show you faster than I could tell you. He leads by his actions, and we really appreciate that.”
