We know Ben Askren can wrestle, but he can toss a decent ball, too.
That’s what we found out Friday evening when Askren threw out the first pitch ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Miami Marlins at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

Askren, who made a miraculous recovery from severe pneumonia and a double lung transplant, will wrestle against former UFC champion Belal Muhammad at RAF 11 at UWM Panther Arena on Saturday. Askren has said it will be his final match.
Sporting the Brewers’ City Connect “Wisco” jersey, shorts, and, of course, his signature sandals, Askren reared back and tossed an easy right-hand pitch to third base coach Matt Erickson – not to be confused with MMA Junkie’s editor of the same name – unless he’s been living a double life this whole time.
Askren, unlike some MMA fighters we’ve seen over the years, looked like he had thrown a baseball or two in his day.
