Purdue football just isn’t really a ton of fun to talk about right now. So, instead of talking about it to open the show we talk about Zach Edey being cleared to return to the NBA and also the upcoming men’s basketball Big Ten media days. Basically, we decided to eat dessert first. Then, we gotta get to the vegetables. And, my wife disagrees with me here, I maintain that no one would eat vegetables if they tasted the exact same but had the nutritional value of a bag of candy. Prove me wrong!
Then, in the second half of the podcast we buckle down and shovel the vegetables in. It’s time to talk Purdue football’s upcoming game against the Illinois Fighting Illini this one over in Illinois. Purdue will be going on the road for just the second time this season. Is the Illinois defense bad enough that we have a good old fashioned shootout on our hands? Ryan and I predict the outcome, and one of us has the game going to overtime. You’ll have to listen to find out who.
