Nostalgia is coming back to Brooklyn in 2026.
According to the NBA Uniform Tracker, the Brooklyn Nets will bring back their 2018-19 City Edition uniforms for the 2026-27 season.
This will not be the uniform’s first return. The Nets brought back the Coogi-inspired “Brooklyn Camo” design for 11 games last season, beginning with Biggie Night against the Toronto Raptors on November 11.

In 2018, the Nets outperformed the consensus expectations. After an over/under win total set at 31.5, Brooklyn went on to go 42-40 while finishing sixth in the Eastern Conference.
Although they lost in the first round of the playoffs, it was a very fun season that created core memories for the fanbase. D’Angelo Russell had a major breakout, making his first All-Star team while leading the squad in scoring.
Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen emerged as the faces of the team’s young corps, and Spencer Dinwiddie was the scoring punch Brooklyn needed off the bench.
Now, the 2026-27 Nets should look to follow a similar blueprint.

Nobody should expect this team to return to the playoffs immediately, but there are several areas where it compares to the 2018-19 squad.
Egor Dëmin and Mikel Brown Jr. are looking to solidify themselves as the future of the Nets’ backcourt, and Brooklyn has an opportunity to become a scrappy and competitive team under head coach Jordi Fernández that opponents hate playing against.
If the Nets can overachieve while feeling confident that Dëmin and Brown Jr. are long-term building blocks, that would be a successful season for the organization.
Either way, seeing those jerseys back on the court should be a welcome sight for Nets fans.
