As Iowa women’s basketball preps for the 2026-27 season, they will do so in style after Hawkeye legend Caitlin Clark gifted the team pairs of her newly-released signature Nike shoes, the Caitlin 1.
The gift from the three-time WNBA All-Star comes at a perfect time as Clark, Nike, and Dick’s Sporting Goods have stationed a pop-up shop near the Pentacrest to celebrate the release of her Caitlin 1s and her Nike signature collection.
Additionally, the Iowa women’s basketball team will be participating in the Nike Basketball Nothing Special to See Here* Iowa Takeover on the Nike Basketball Court located near Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue, where they will break in the new shoes in front of their passionate Hawkeye fans on Friday night.
