Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White rejoined the organization this past offseason after leaving in 2016. On Saturday, she picked up her first win with the Fever since then, dominating the Chicago Sky 93-58.
Caitlin Clark led the way for Indiana, finishing with a triple-double: 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Now sitting at 1-0 in the young 2025 WNBA season, the Fever look ahead to Tuesday’s home matchup with the Atlanta Dream. Meanwhile, on Sunday, White and two of her players — Aliyah Boston and Makayla Timpson — enjoyed watching some racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Indy 500 is set for May 25, and Sunday marked qualifying for the race. White had the honor of waving the green flag to kick off practice.
The Fever posted a video of the moment on social media, and plenty of fans reacted to it.
“So cool way to go Stephanie!!!” a fan said.
“Nice form, Coach,” another wrote.

White coached the last two seasons for the Connecticut Sun and eliminated Clark’s Fever in the first round of the WNBA playoffs last year.
White, who played for Indiana from 2000–04, holds a career WNBA coaching record of 60–41. She also has college coaching experience, with stops at Ball State, Kansas State, Toledo, and Vanderbilt.
