Circle your calendars, Yellow Jackets fans, the buzz around Georgia Tech basketball is real.

As Damon Stoudamire enters his third season at the helm, Georgia Tech’s 2025-26 schedule is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated in recent memory. With fresh faces, fierce conference rivals, and a roster brimming with talent, McCamish Pavilion is set to become the epicenter of college hoops drama in Atlanta.

One confirmed early non-conference matchup has Tech hosting in-state rival Georgia Southern on Nov. 18. This is a rematch of Stoudamire’s debut game in 2023, when the Jackets cruised to an 84-62 win. More non-conference matchups are expected to be released later this summer.

The real heat comes in ACC play, where Tech will host perennial powerhouses North Carolina and Clemson, both 2024 NCAA Tournament teams. With nine home games on deck, fans will also see Boston College, Florida State, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia, and Wake Forest in Midtown Atlanta.

On the road, the Jackets face tests at Duke, Louisville, and Miami, among others, in an 18-game conference slate that rotates annually. Notably, Tech will not face SMU this season.

Stoudamire’s squad returns core contributors, including All-ACC big man Baye Ndongo, who averaged 13.4 points and 8.9 rebounds last season while shooting 53.6% from the field. Jaeden Mustaf and Kowacie Reeves Jr. bring athleticism and scoring, while 10 newcomers, including four transfers and a top-15 nationally ranked recruiting class will add depth and versatility.

While game dates and broadcast schedules won’t drop until September, fans already have plenty of reasons to get excited. With a competitive roster and a home-heavy ACC draw, this year’s team has a real shot to climb the standings, and maybe make a return trip to March Madness.

Don’t just follow the action, be there for it.
