When: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
Atlanta took the series opener 92-82 behind a huge performance from Jordin Canada, who finished with 25 points and five steals. DeWanna Bonner added 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench as the Dream turned New York’s 21 turnovers into 32 points. Atlanta will be without Allisha Gray in Game 2 after she suffered a hand injury in the opener.
New York enters Game 2 looking to even the best-of-five series before it shifts to New York. Sabrina Ionescu led the Liberty with 27 points in Game 1, while Breanna Stewart added 19, but taking better care of the basketball will be critical against an aggressive Atlanta defense. Game 2 tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
This is a great WNBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
