Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark Predicted to Win 2026 WNBA All-Star Game MVP

Alexa Philippou of ESPN believes Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will win the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game MVP.

Clark missed last year’s WNBA All-Star Game in Indiana, so she might go off this year in Chicago at the historic United Center.

“Clark looked like she had fun watching from the sidelines of last year’s All-Star Game, but not being able to take the floor with the competition being held in Indianapolis had to have hurt,” Philippou wrote. “She’ll be eager to make the most of the experience this year in Chicago and will add to the recent pattern (Napheesa Collier in 2025 notwithstanding) of guards taking home All-Star Game MVP.”

Clark is an All-Star for the third consecutive year. She’s a starter alongside Aliyah BostonPaige BueckersNatasha Howard, Olivia Miles, Kelsey MitchellJessica ShepardBreanna StewartGabby Williams and A’ja Wilson.

An Iowa product, Clark received the second-most votes (1,023,321) from fans in the WNBA All-Star Voting presented by Ally.

For the Fever this season, Clark is averaging 20.1 points and 7.8 assists per game while shooting 42.7% from the field, 33.1% from beyond the arc and 84.8% from the free-throw line. The 24-year-old is second in the WNBA in assists per game and seventh in points per game.

Against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday (July 12), Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 600 assists, doing so in 72 games played, surpassing the previous record of 81 games held by Katie Smith. Clark finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 24 minutes, helping the Fever beat the Aces by 34 points.

Indiana (14-9) went 3-1 on its West Coast road trip and now has four straight games at home before the WNBA All-Star break. This is a great opportunity for the Fever to go on a long winning streak.

It will be fascinating to see how Clark and Co. finish the first half of the season. Clark has dealt with back issues all season. Hopefully, the 2024 Rookie of the Year doesn’t aggravate the injury again. The entire basketball world wants to see Clark play in Chicago at the All-Star Game.
