It happened again.
The Wisconsin men’s basketball team lost as a No. 5 seed to a No. 12 seed in the first round of the Men’s NCAA Tournament in Portland, Oregon.
The Badgers were stunned by a 30-win High Point team, 83-82, the fourth straight time the Badgers fell as a No. 5 seed to a No. 12 in the opening round.

The Badgers, who led by eight points under five minutes left, couldn’t put away a hot-shooting High Point team that kept firing and making three-pointers in the closing stretch.
It was High Point’s first NCAA Tournament victory. Meanwhile, Wisconsin’s promising season ends in disappointing fashion again.

High Point’s game-winning basket came from Chase Johnston on a breakaway layup. It was Johntson’s first two-point basket all season.
