Jesus Pinedo comes to shine in PFL.
Thursday at 2025 PFL World Tournament 5, Pinedo (25-6-1) added a trilogy victory to his resume when he wrecked rival Gabriel Braga (16-3) with a knockout combination that ended the bout 1:16 into Round 1. The featherweight tournament semifinal co-headlined the event at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.
A right hand marked the beginning of the end for Braga, who stumbled backward when it hit him in the face. Pinedo sensed his opponent was in danger and leaped in with a hard left that floored Braga. Pinedo pummeled away until the stoppage came.
Pinedo wins the trilogy 2-1. After an initial split decision loss in April 2023, Pinedo evened the score in November 2023 when he finished Braga standing with strikes in Round 3 to win that year’s championship.
With the win, Pinedo extends his winning streak to five. In defeat, Braga has a two-fight winning streak snapped.
