Tennessee women’s basketball will play Baylor at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Dec. 18.
The game will be the front end of a doubleheader. Vanderbilt and Belmont will play in the second game.
Tickets go on sale May 29 at 11 a.m. ET. Game times have not been announced.
The Lady Vols are 2-6 against Baylor with six consecutive losses. The Bears won 88-66 in the last meeting in Knoxville on Dec. 4, 2016. Tennessee’s last win was at home in 2009 with a 74-65 victory. The Lady Vols are 1-2 in neutral site games against Baylor.

Baylor will present a significant early season test for coach Kim Caldwell and the Lady Vols’ revamped roster. The Bears finished 25-9 last season with the third-best conference record in the Big 12. They beat Nebraska in the first round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament before losing to Duke.
This is the first time Vanderbilt will have played at Bridgestone Arena since 2022, when the SEC Tournament was held there. All previous matchups between Vanderbilt and Belmont have been held at one of the two neighboring Nashville schools.
This will be the first matchup between the two teams since 2017, when Vanderbilt lost, 111-74.
Belmont made six straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2018-22 but has not made any of the past four tournaments. Vanderbilt has made three straight appearances in March Madness, advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2026.
