New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cam Jordan’s return to the Saints has been met with excitement throughout the locker room, with teammates emphasizing the impact his presence brings to the organization.
Second-year quarterback Tyler Shough spoke highly of Jordan while meeting with reporters, noting how influential the veteran defensive end has been since his arrival in New Orleans.

“He wants to be here, he understands this is his place, this is his home. He’s been such a great leader and influence for me,” said Shough.
For Shough, who is preparing for his first season as the Saints’ full-time starting quarterback, having a respected veteran like Jordan in the building has provided valuable guidance both on and off the field.
Additionally, fellow veteran edge rusher Carl Granderson echoed those sentiments, stressing the importance of Jordan’s leadership and experience.
“It does a lot for us, we need that leadership.. A future hall of famer, we are excited to get him back in the building and we can’t wait,” Granderson said.
