Texas A&M’s 2025 spring football season will also serve as an opportunity to host recruits from the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes, which has already begun over the last two weekends. Starting Friday, 18 elite prospects will make their way to College Station, including one of the rising signal callers in the 2027 cycle, four-star QB Trae Taylor.
Despite Texas A&M’s poor finish to the 2024 season, coach Mike Elko enters his second campaign with even higher expectations, with redshirt sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed becoming the full-time starter combined with the return of every starting offensive lineman and a loaded running back room providing realistic hope.

For the recruits considering Texas A&M as their collegiate destination, the program’s 1-4. finish to the 2024 season is just part of the growing pains for a new coaching staff. While rival Texas has been highly successful in making consecutive College Football Playoff appearances, we all remember head coach Steve Sarkisian’s struggles before making the eventual leap.
With another busy weekend ahead of Elko and his staff, here is the complete list of 2026 and 2027 prospects who will make their way to College Station.
