Sienna Harvey has found her new home after transferring away from Washington.
The Australian guard announced her commitment to Iowa State on social media on Sunday after a freshman season on Montlake in which she averaged 3.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in about 10 and a half minutes per game.
Harvey was part of a lauded 2025 freshman class that included five-star forward Brynn McGaughy and four-star forward Nina Cain. Four-star guard Bryn Martin was committed to the Huskies but did not make it to campus, flipping to her hometown Ohio State in May 2025.

McGaughy took over a starting role for the Huskies by the end of the season, averaging 9.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in almost 22 minutes per game, which earned her a spot on the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. Cain played 31 minutes across 8 games as a reserve but could factor into the frontcourt rotation more heavily in 2026 with Yulia Grabovskaia graduating.
Harvey joins guard Chloe Briggs as the two former Washington players who have found new homes out of the transfer portal. Briggs committed to Cal Baptist, closer to where she became the CIF Southern Section career leader in scoring, earlier this offseason. 6-foot-6 forward Olivia Anderson is in the portal but has yet to announce a new destination.
Tina Langley’s squad has also added two transfers this offseason, signing Macey Huard from Oklahoma State and Tilda Trygger from North Carolina State. Trygger averaged 10.6 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 30 starts for the Wolfpack as a sophomore and could well start next to McGaughy in the frontcourt. Huard did not play in 2025-26 due to an injury, but averaged 5.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 2024-25 after transferring in from Montana. She seems poised to take over Harvey and Briggs’ roles as backcourt depth.
Washington returns McGaughy, All-Big Ten first team pick Sayvia Sellers, and All-Big Ten honorable mention Avery Howell from the first team to win an NCAA Tournament game since the days of Kelsey Plum. The additions of Trygger, Huard, and four-star freshman wing Amayah “Sunshine” Garcia – listed as a forward on Washington’s roster – should bump Langley’s squad up that much further in the preseason rankings.

The Huskies list 9 players on the 2026-27 roster currently: Sellers, Howell, Trygger, McGaughy, Huard, Cain, Garcia, junior guard Devin Coppinger, and redshirt freshman forward Daniella McLean. Washington carried 14 players on the 2025-26 roster, so a healthy amount of movement in the transfer portal or some last-minute high school commitments seems to remain on the horizon.
