Sneed committed to Tennessee over Ole Miss, Ohio State, Auburn and Louisville. He is the younger brother of preferred walk-on wide receiver Dayton Sneed, who is a redshirt sophomore in 2025.
The four-star tight end is from Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sneed is ranked as the No. 259 overall prospect in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 14 tight end and No. 7 player in Tennessee.
The Vols offered Sneed a scholarship on March 4, 2023.
The Vols have seven other commitments for 2026: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
