Notre Dame enters the 2025 season as a consensus Top 10 team and a likely playoff contender. This comes a season after Notre Dame went 14-2 and advanced all the way to the national championship game.
In the latest RTCF show the team discusses what it will take for Notre Dame to win the title in 2025 and the biggest potential stumbling blocks to a title. There is also some recruiting and college football talk.

*** In part one of today’s show, Bryan and Shaun give their four biggest reasons why Notre Dame will win a national championship in 2025. These are the factors that will drive the team on both sides of the ball, although offensive factors weighed heavily. That is due in part to the Notre Dame defense already showing it can play championship football. There is plenty of talk about the offensive line and quarterback CJ Carr during this portion of the show.
*** In part two we discuss the potential stumbling blocks to Notre Dame reaching its potential this season. Part of the discussion involves the potential strengths not being as good as expected, but it goes much deeper than that.
*** In part three we kick off a summer long series that looks at the State of the Program from a recruiting perspective. We kicked things off with the wide receiver position. After evaluating how the program has recruited wide receivers in the four previous years we evaluate where the program stands at the position. We then dive into 2026 recruiting, first breaking down commits Bubba Frazier and Dylan Faison before moving onto the players left on the board. We discuss how important it is for Notre Dame to land Kayden Finley, Kohen Brown and Brayden Robinson, and what those commitments would mean for Mike Brown and the direction of the wide receiver position.
*** In the final segment of the show we discuss the potential changes to the College Football Playoff format, what we think should be done, and how it all impacts Notre Dame.
