The Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team had a historic season led by head coach Jon Scheyer.
The third-year coach helped pilot one of the most talented teams in the nation with freshmen Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach, junior Tyrese Proctor and numerous other key contributors.

Duke made its way to the Final Four but lost to the Houston Cougars to fall just one win short of a national title game appearance.
While all eyes were on Blue Devils and their 35-4 season, winning the ACC Tournament title and four NCAA Tournament games, Duke on Wednesday highlighted its success outside of the white lines.
The men’s basketball team had a 3.43 GPA in the spring semester.
“Best of both,” posted the official social media account of the Duke Blue Devils.
Upon the release of the announcement, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the GPA of Duke players under Scheyer.

According to Duke, the Blue Devils boast a 3.29 GPA in the Jon Scheyer era.

The spotlight shined bright on Cooper Flagg last season, who’s viewed as the consensus No. 1 overall pick in next month’s NBA draft.
During his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, Flagg posted 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

Flagg was named the Naismith National Player of the Year and Wooden Award winner.
