After a much-needed week of rest as the Iowa Hawkeyes sat idle on their bye week, they are back in action this weekend as their Big Ten slate continues.
Up next for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes is a trip north to Madison, Wisconsin, to take on the Wisconsin Badgers, a team that could be in complete disarray after their showing against Michigan last week left fans wondering how much head coach Luke Fickell wants to be there.

Iowa’s bye may have come at the best time possible, as there was chaos amid college football in Week 6, largely headlined by the previously winless UCLA Bruins taking down Penn State in a shocker.
In this week’s USA TODAY Sports Re-Rank, the Nittany Lions, who are now ranked No. 45, happen to be one of the teams Iowa has leapfrogged. Iowa sits at No. 40 in the rankings ahead of the matchup against Wisconsin.
Despite losing to Michigan, Wisconsin experienced only a minor decline in the rankings, dropping two spots to No. 80.
Kickoff for the Iowa Hawkeyes versus the Wisconsin Badgers is set for 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, October 11, from Camp Randall in Madison, Wisconsin, and will be airing on FS1.
