TCU sophomore forward Micah Robinson turned in a career season for the Horned Frogs, averaging 10.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game and helping TCU reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The former four-star recruit isn’t going anywhere, either, as he announced on social media that he’ll be returning for the 2026-27 season. The 6-foot-6 forward played in 35 games and made 13 starts, 12 of which came at the end of the 2025-26 season. He shot 39.2% from the field and 33.3% from 3-point range as a sophomore.
A consensus four-star prospect who, at the time, was TCU’s third-highest ranked recruit in program history, Robinson is the third player to announce his return. Robinson, who’ll join junior guard Brock Harding and junior forward Xavier Edmonds on the 2026-27 roster, helped the Horned Frogs to a 23-12 record and a sixth-place finish in the Big 12. Robinson shined during the NCAA Tournament, leading TCU in scoring against both Ohio State and Duke, finishing with 18 points in each game. Robinson reached double figures 20 times in 2025-26.

The Horned Frogs are losing one starter, senior guard Jayden Pierre. TCU has also lost reserve guards Jace Posey and RJ Jones to the transfer portal. But the return of Robinson, Harding and Edmonds will give the Horned Frogs a shot at remaining near the top of the conference standings next winter.
