Today’s UFC Fight Night 282 event is one bout lesser after a fight day scratch due to illness.
UFC officials announced just prior to Saturday’s event from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi (Paramount+), that welterweight prospect Islam Dulatov has come down with an illness that will prevent him from stepping into the octagon against Wellington Turman.

Additional details about the condition of Dulatov (12-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) were not made available by the UFC, however, his team posted a statement on social media addressing the situation (via Instagram):
Although surely disappointing for Dulatov, the frustration for Turman (18-8 MMA, 3-6 UFC) must be immense, because UFC Fight Night 282 was meant to be his first fight in nearly three years.
It’s unknown at this time if the UFC intends to reschedule the 170-pound bout for a new date or move on to new business with both men.
