World Archery has released the calendar for the 2026 Indoor Archery World Series, presented by YOUYI, which features seven events in seven countries – including new 250-point tournaments in Brazil and Mexico.
However, the international 18-metre series will no longer finish with the Indoor Archery World Series Finals.
Instead of holding the final matchplay event in 2026, prize money for the championship categories (recurve men, recurve women, compound men and compound women) and corresponding youth championship categories will be allocated on the elite and youth rankings following the last event in Las Vegas (USA).
An archer’s top three points finishes across all events will count towards the elite ranking.
The total series prize fund has been increased by 30% to CHF 55,000 in 2026, which in addition to the guaranteed prize pots offered at each stage.
These changes, which were unanimously agreed by organisers and approved by World Archery’s executive board, prioritise athlete experience and continued investment in each of the tournaments that collectively comprise archery’s international mass-participation circuit.
Registration for the early events is expected to open soon through OpenWAREOS.
