Iowa City West’s Grace Fincham has committed to Drake women’s basketball, she announced on social media on June 1.
The 5-foot-11 guard/forward was the team’s leading scorer and rebounder over the past two seasons. Last season, she averaged a career-high 16 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game as a junior.
A three-year starter, Fincham helped the Trojans post a 15-9 record and a trip to the Class 5A regional championship game last season. She also earned second-team all-state honors by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
