Iowa women’s basketball continued its recent push with the nation’s top 2027 prospects. As the staff seeks to make inroads with the country’s top players, Iowa offered five-star guard Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka.

Wilson-Manyacka is the reigning Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year after a sensational sophomore season with the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland.

The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per game this past season as she and the Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals of the Maryland Private School State Tournament. Wilson-Manyacka was named a Naismith Award Third Team All-American selection.

The standout guard was also a member of the USA Basketball Under-17 Women’s National Team at the age of 14.

According to both ESPN and 247Sports, Wilson-Manyacka is the nation’s No. 2 player overall in the 2027 class. 247Sports ranks Wilson-Manyacka as the country’s No. 1 small forward and as the top player in Maryland.

The elite prospect also holds notable offers from schools such as Notre Dame, South Carolina, Texas, UCLA, USC and UConn.

After recent offers to point guard Kaleena Smith, forward and center Sydney Mobley and small forward Madi Mignery as well, it’s clear that Iowa is after some of the biggest names in the 2027 cycle.
