Head coach Ryan Day is keeping the focus on their upcoming game against Texas, per Stefan Krajisnik of Cleveland.com.
“I really haven’t been focused on that at all. As you can imagine, it’s all about Texas,” Day said. “That’s it. All of our time. The minute we got done with that game (vs. Ball State), it was onto Texas.”

Meanwhile, Michigan’s controversial win over Western Michigan will go down in history as one of the most bizarre calls in sports history. With no time on the clock, Michigan got the ball and had one second left on the clock after QB Bryce Underwood threw it out of bounds. Then, Underwood threw a Hail Mary that JJ Buchanan caught for a 13-12 win.
Ohio State is a tremendous favorite to contend for the national championship. Overall, the combination of QB Julian Sayin and WR Jeremiah Smith, along with a strong offensive line, puts them in prime position to go far.
In addition to Texas, the Buckeyes will play the defending champions No. 6 Indiana (Oct. 17) and No. 2 Oregon (Nov. 7).
On Nov. 28, they will play No. 16 Michigan in Columbus.
