The Paige Bueckers-Caitlin Clark comparisons are going to follow the former throughout her WNBA rookie season, even if it’s inherently not fair to always compare the two sensational basketball players.
However, this full-court Bueckers pass to Dallas Wings forward NaLyssa Smith for two points in the paint reminds you so, so much of when Clark was hitting Smith with the same stunning passes during her rookie season with the Indiana Fever last year.

As the Wings took on the Seattle Storm on Monday night at home, Bueckers showed off her ability to facilitate offense in the game’s second quarter by hitting Smith with a beautiful pass made across the court.
Smith knows how to position herself for a pass like this from a rookie teammate after doing this last year with Clark and the Fever. After Smith’s trade to Dallas, she gets the opportunity to get unreal passes from yet another generational rookie.
Bueckers and Clark are different players at different points in their career, but this crosscourt pass sure reminded us of a clip from of Clark’s rookie highlight reel. That certainly bode well for Bueckers and Dallas.
