USA Network completes WNBA lineup with veteran sideline reporter

USA Network has big plans for its 2026 WNBA season coverage.

The company’s sports arm, USA Sports, is adding another top name to its WNBA coverage lineup, which already includes Elle Duncan, Hall of Famers Tamika Catchings and Chamique Holdsclaw, and current WNBA athlete Sophie Cunningham. The network has tapped Terrika Foster-Brasby, a veteran sideline reporter and analyst who has been a grassroots voice in the WNBA space for over a decade, to join its 2026 broadcast team.

Foster-Brasby is adding her new role with USA Sports to her current slate of work, which includes responsibilities with CBS Sports as a sideline reporter and analyst. She is also a contributor for NBC Sports and covers the Connecticut Sun as a sideline reporter. Foster-Brasby, who is expected to begin her assignment with the company in June, told USA TODAY Sports that the network’s investment in the WNBA drew her in, along with its genuine people.

“People that really wanna elevate the sport, people that really wanna learn and know … I think that that was something that was important to me ― to be with a group of people who understand, some of (where we’re) trying to go in the W, in terms of coverage.” Foster-Brasby said.

Each person’s unique experience enhances USA Sports’ collective ability to showcase the incredible athletes, teams and stories in the WNBA throughout the season. Our team takes great pride in the opportunity to tell these stories and ultimately crown a champion at the WNBA Finals on USA Network.”

In 2025, USA Sports and the WNBA agreed to an 11-year media rights deal that allows USA Network to present WNBA games starting with the 2026 season.

As part of the agreement, which runs through 2036, USA Sports will broadcast at least 50 WNBA games annually on USA Network. The deal also includes WNBA playoffs and WNBA Finals games in select years, beginning this season.

USA Sports’ WNBA coverage during the regular season will be by Wednesday night doubleheaders, beginning May 13. Each broadcast also includes a dedicated pre-game and post-game show.

The 2026 WNBA season officially kicks off on Friday, May 8.
