The Los Angeles Sparks upset the odds on Wednesday night with a surprise win over the Las Vegas Aces. The Sparks entered the game as +9 underdogs in their road game at Michelob ULTRA Arena, but as it turns out, L.A. did not get the memo.

They battled a struggling Aces side from start to finish, with the game ultimately resulting in a 97-89 victory in favor of the Sparks.
Rickea Jackson went off for L.A. with a career-high 30 points on 11-of-17 shooting, seven rebounds, an assist and four triples in 33 minutes of action.
Cameron Brink, on the other hand, was still sidelined for this one as the 23-year-old forward continues to work her way back from ACL surgery. Brink, however, wasted no time flexing her team’s win via social media.
The former Stanford star took to Instagram to share a couple of the Sparks’ posts about their victory.
Brink did not have any words in both of her posts, instead letting the win do all the talking. After all, it was a big victory for the Sparks as they marked their second win in three games.

L.A. has now improved to 4-7, and they have momentum on their side at the moment. Up next for them is a tough matchup against Napheesa Collier and the 9-1 Minnesota Lynx on Saturday.

As for Brink, there is currently still no firm timetable for her return, but previous reports have indicated that she should be back sometime in June. If there have been no setbacks in her road to recovery, then the second-year forward should be back in the mix for the Sparks sooner rather than later.
